1. Our Services

Honey Studio provides three categories of service:

• 3D Printing Services — custom FDM and resin printing of customer-supplied or studio-designed models.
• Printer Sales — sale of new 3D printers and genuine spare parts from supported brands.
• Repair & Maintenance — diagnosis, servicing, calibration, and repair of 3D printers.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or discontinue any order or service request at our sole discretion, including where a design is technically unprintable, violates these Terms, or falls outside our current capacity.

2. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

Quotes for 3D printing are estimates based on material, print time, volume, and finishing requested, and may change if the final file, material, or specifications differ from what was originally submitted. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude shipping, taxes, and any expedite fees unless stated otherwise. A quote is valid for 7 days from the date it is issued unless we state a different validity period in writing.

An order is confirmed only once payment terms in Section 3 have been met. We are not obligated to begin work, reserve materials, or hold pricing on any unconfirmed order.

3. Payment Policy

To protect against material and machine-time costs already committed on your behalf, our standard payment terms are:

• Custom 3D printing orders require full or partial advance payment (as specified in your quote) before production begins. Production will not start until payment is confirmed.
• Printer purchases must be paid in full before dispatch, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
• Repair & servicing may require an inspection/diagnostic fee upfront, adjustable against the final invoice; remaining balance is due on completion, before the printer is returned.
• We accept UPI, major debit/credit cards, net banking, and bank transfer. Cash may be accepted for in-person transactions at our sole discretion.
• Applicable taxes (GST) will be added to invoices as required by law.
• Late or failed payments may result in your order being paused, cancelled, or, in the case of repairs, the device being held until dues are cleared.

4. Order Changes & Cancellations

You may request changes to a custom print order before production begins. Once printing has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible without forfeiting the cost of materials and machine time already used.

• Cancellations requested before production starts are eligible for a refund of amounts paid, less any non-recoverable processing or design-review fees.
• Cancellations requested after production has started are non-refundable, as material and machine time have already been committed.
• Printer sale orders may be cancelled free of charge only before the item has been dispatched.

5. Returns & Refunds

Because most of our printing work is made-to-order and produced specifically to your specifications, our return policy differs by service type:

5.1 Custom 3D Printed Items

Custom prints are not eligible for return or refund once production is complete, except where the item has a genuine manufacturing defect (e.g. incorrect dimensions materially outside agreed tolerance, layer failure, or a print that does not match the confirmed specification). Defect claims must be reported in writing within 3 days of delivery, accompanied by clear photos/videos of the issue. Verified defects will be resolved at our discretion through a reprint, partial credit, or refund of the affected item.

We are not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from the customer's own design file, incorrect specifications provided by the customer, or expectations that were not communicated to us in writing at the time of order.

5.2 Printer Sales

New printers may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused, unopened, and in original packaging, subject to inspection and a restocking fee where applicable. Printers with manufacturer defects are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we will help facilitate on your behalf. Physical damage, misuse, or unauthorized modification voids eligibility for return.

5.3 Repair & Servicing

Repairs carry a limited service warranty of 15 days covering only the specific fault that was repaired. This warranty does not cover new or unrelated faults, wear-and-tear parts, or issues caused by misuse, liquid damage, or third-party tampering after the device leaves our workshop.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We offer nationwide shipping via third-party courier partners. Delivery timelines provided at the time of order are estimates only and are not guaranteed; we are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, customs, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control. Risk of loss or damage in transit passes to the customer once the item is handed to the courier, though we will reasonably assist with claims against the carrier where a shipment is lost or arrives damaged.

7. Intellectual Property & Customer Files

You retain all ownership rights to any design file you submit to us. By submitting a file, you confirm that you own the rights to it, or have permission to have it printed, and you agree to indemnify Honey Studio against any claim arising from a design you provided infringing on a third party's intellectual property rights.

Unless you notify us otherwise in writing, you grant Honey Studio permission to photograph completed prints and showcase them in our portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes. We will not share your original design files publicly without your consent.

8. Prohibited Use

We reserve the right to refuse any print request that, in our judgement, involves: weapons or weapon components restricted under applicable law, counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods, content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes a third party's rights, or any item intended to cause harm.

9. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

3D printed parts are provided "as is" and are not certified for structural, safety-critical, load-bearing, food-contact, or medical use unless explicitly agreed with us in writing. Printers sold by us carry only the warranty extended by their original manufacturer, which we pass through to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honey Studio's total liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business, or data.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent authority over our place of business.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
